AMB opens 24,300-square metre Dalian logistics park

WORLD`S leading industrial property developer AMB has announced the opening of its new logistics facility in Dalian, Logistics Week reported.
The facility, named AMB Dalian Industrial Park Distribution Centre, is located inside the Dalian Economic-Technological Development Area. Phase 1 of the centre offers a leasable area of the total area to be expanded to 67,700 square metre after phase 2 has been completed.
AMB Property China managing director Ben Cornish said China is one of the most important markets in the company`s global expansion strategy. AMB is focused on long-term development plan in China and the new facility is a step of the plan, he said.
As of June 30, the total area of AMB logistics and distribution facilities in China come to 379,900 square metres with branches in Beijing, Shenzhen and Chengdu. Since it entered the Asia six years ago, AMB`s properties in this market, including those in operation and under construction, total more than 1.5 million square metres.
