MOL increases Asia-east coast South America rate US$750/TEU from May 1

JAPANESE shipping giant MOL Liner Ltd will increase the freight rate from Asia, including the Indian subcontinent, to the east coast of South America US$750 per TEU and $1,500 per FEU.

The increase will be implemented from May 1 and is regarded by the company as a General Rate Restoration.
