IN an effort to expand its European oil and gas network, Kuehne + Nagel (K+N) has established two new offices in northwest and Russia`s Far East.
One hundred miles due east of the Finnish border, K+N`s Murmansk branch boasts reliable domestic and international transportation links, and is strategically placed for the upcoming launch of the Shtokman gas condensate field exploration project.
Commenting on the new location, Kuehne + Nagel Russia director Perry Neumann said that "The Shtokman project would help to develop the Murmansk region, with its ice-free port, into one of the leading Russian ports and a key location for major local, and international suppliers of goods and services."
In the Far East meanwhile, the logistics group`s newly opened an facility in Nogliki will serve as a support branch to its existing office there, which was opened in 2002.
