CSAV extends coverage on India-Middle East-Europe (IMEX) service

CHILE`s CSAV has announced a new call in the Red Sea-North Europe market with the addition of an eastbound arrival at Jeddah on its India-Middle East-Europe service (IMEX) from May 11.
This will also include a call on its westbound leg at Barcelona to be replaced by one at Malta Marsaxlokk, southeast Malta. Both changes allow for connections to its Far East-West MedMare Nostrum Service (MNS), which will allow for transshipment of cargo from the Med to the Gulf and ISC discharge.
The service deploys seven 4,700-TEU class ships with a new overall transit time of 11 days.
The revised port rotation is Rotterdam, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Antwerp, Port Said, Jeddah, Jebel Ali, Karachi, Nhava Sheva (Jawaharlal Nehru), Mundra, Port Said, Malta and back to Rotterdam
