NORTHWESTERN China`s Yinchuan city has started building a logistics park for the transportation of agricultural products between urban and rural area, Logistics Week reported.
The logistics park is located inside the Yinchuan Lugang Logistics Centre and will be using the existing 2.3 kilometres of dedicated rail facilities.
After completion, the logistics park will cover an area of 220,000 square metres with 120,000 square metres` warehousing area, and able to store up to 360,000 tonnes. It will have an annual throughput capacity of 1 million tonnes, offering processing, warehousing and temperature-controlled storage services.
