Evergreen hit with US$60 million loss due to slack demand

TAIWAN`s Evergreen Marine reported another second quarter loss, the latest amounting to US$60 million, compared to a year-on- year profit of $25 million.
This follows a first quarter loss of $83 million. Revenue was 38.5 per cent lower year on year in the first half.
