CMA CGM levies Asia-Mideast US$100/TEU rate hike effective November 1

FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM Group has announced that it will increase the freight rate US$100 per TEU on containers moving from Asia to Middle East ports from November 1.

CMA CGM said this is a Rate Restoration Programme that comes on top of the two rate increases on October 15 and October 22 which have been exacted to maintain its service quality on CIMEX Lines.
