AADA cuts bunker surcharge to US$200/TEU as oil price declines

MEMBER lines of the Asia Australian Discussion Agreement (AADA) are telling customers that the bunker surcharge for shipments from Japan, Korea, mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to ports in Australia will be reduced to US$200 per TEU and $400 per FEU from October 24, owing to the recent decrease in the price of oil at Hong Kong and South Korea. 

Member AADA lines are ANL Singapore, APL, China Shipping Container Line (HK), Cosco, Evergreen Line, Hamburg Sud, Hanjin Shipping, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, "K" Line, Maersk Line, MSC, MOL, NYK, OOCL, PIL, Sinotrans Container Lines, TS Lines and Yang Ming.
