OOCL cuts Low Sulphur Fuel Surcharge in and out of Gothenburg to US$24/TEU

HONG KONG`s Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced a reduction in its Low Sulphur Fuel Surcharge (LSS) for all shipments to and from Gothenburg to US$24 per TEU.

This brings the surcharge down to the same level as applied to other European direct call ports, and will be effective from the first direct sailing to and from Gothenburg in the Loop 7 service.

But for shipments to and from the Baltic, Scandinavia and United Kingdom outports by feeders, a $77 per TEU low sulphur surcharge will be levied, said the company, adding that a Surcharges Table is available on the company website.
