G6 Alliance adds last call to Halifax on return leg to Asia

This move is expected to improve transit times from Canada to Asian and Mediterranean ports as well as from Asian and Mediterranean ports to New York.
The new port rotation will be Laem Chabang, Singapore, Colombo, Damietta, Cagliari, Halifax, New York, Savannah, Norfolk, Halifax (new), Cagliari, Damietta, Jebel Ali, Singapore and back to Laem Chabang.
Effective from the following voyage: the 8,750-TEUBudapest Express BUX 029E, ETA Laem Chabang July 6, ETA Halifax (new) August 4.
The G6 Alliance members include APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui OSK Lines, Nippon Yusen Kaisha and Orient Overseas Container Line.
