Asia-Australia carriers to adjust bunker surcharge from January 5

CARRIER members of the Asia Australia Discussion Agreement (AADA) have announced an adjustment in bunker charges for shipments from Japan, Korea, mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to ports in Australia from January 5.


The bunker charges will be adjusted to US$575 per TEU and $1,150 per FEU for dry and refrigerated containers.

 
AADA is a voluntary discussion forum of container carriers offering services from North and East Asia to ports in Australia. Its members include ANL, CSCL, Cosco, Hamburg Sud, Hanjin, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM), "K" Line, MSC, MOL, NYK Line and OOCL.
