MSC is adding calls in the ports of Jacksonville and Savannah to its recently relaunched Freeport-Centram feeder service, in order to offer a direct connection from the South US East Coast to Central America.

Alphaliner said the carrier re-introduced the Centram feeder service after suspending its direct Europe-Centram service.

The amended Centram service follows a butterfly pattern that is centred on the Freeport hub, whereby one wing calls at ports in Jacksonville and Savannah and the other wing makes stops at the ports of Santo Tomas de Castilla and Puerto Cortes.
