Michael Kwok is appointed OOCL chief operations officer from July 1

HONG KONG`s Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has appointed Michael Kwok as chief operating officer, with responsibilities covering trades and corporate logistics effective July 1.

Mr Kwok is currently director of trades, a position he has held since 2010. Previous roles in his 33 years with OOCL include director of intra-Asia trade, head of fleet management and head of corporate logistics.


Stephen Ng will replace Mr Kwok, with responsibilities in the management of three major east west trades, intra-Europe trade and the Grand Alliance as well as the G6 Alliance. He will continue to be the spokesman for OOCL.


Paul Devine remains general manager of corporate logistics with additional responsibilities overseeing the public relations.
