Canada Transpacific Stablisation Agreement to up rates US$400/FEU mid-March

CANADA Transpacific Stabilisation Agreement (CTSA) has indicated its member carriers will raise rates US$400 per FEU from March 15.

"These rate increases are interim, and are subject to any additional subsequent increases," CTSA said in a statement.


This follows the earlier announcement of Transpacific Stabilisation Agreement (TSA) to increase rates by $300 per FEU from March 15 and by another $500 per FEU from May 1.


CTSA members include APL, Cosco, Evergreen, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM), "K" Line, NYK Line, OOCL, Yang Ming and Zim.
