OOCL raises US$300 per TEU for north/east Asia-Australia loops March 15

HONG KONG`s Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced it will increase the freight rates by US$300 per TEU for services between north-east Asia and Australia from March 15.

The world`s 13th largest carrier announced earlier it will impose US$800/TEU Asia-Europe rate increase for shipments from the Far East (except for Japan) to north Europe, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea from March 1.
