AADA hikes China to Australia rate by US$250/TEU, $500/FEU

MEMBER lines of the Asia Australia Discussion Agreement (AADA) will implement a rate increase of US$250 per TEU and $500 per FEU increase on all cargo from mainland China and Hong Kong to Australian ports.

The increase applies to both dry and refrigerated cargo in the base ocean freight on top of existing ongoing market rates and will be subject to accessorial surcharges applicable at the time of shipment, said the AADA statement.


AADA`s 13 members are ANL Singapore, China Shipping, Cosco, Hamburg Sud, Hanjin, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, "K" Line, Maersk, MSC, MOL, NYK and OOCL.
