TAIWAN`s Wan Hai Lines and Singapore`s Interasia Lines have announced the September 11 launch of the Super III - or NS3 Service - that will link Japanese main ports to south China, Singapore and Malaysia.

The service, known as NS3, consists of three 1,800-TEU ships with two operated by Wan Hai and one by Interasia, which will run on a 21-day loop.

The port rotation will be Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Kobe, Hong Kong (HIT), Shenzhen (Shekou), Singapore, Port Klang, Hong Kong (HIT) and back to Tokyo.

The NS3 service is Wan Hai`s existing service with three 1,200-TEU ships. Vessel capacity will be increased to 1,800 TEU and both partners are confident that the upsized service will cater to customers` increasing demand for space.
