DUBAI-based Emirates Shipping Line announced it will take slots from Hanjin`s Far East-Middle East Express (FMX) Service from July 7.
"The Far East Middle East Express (FMX) service offers a superior coverage from Asia to the Indian subcontinent and the Gulf. The uniqueness of this service is linking Korea directly to the major Gulf ports namely Jebel Ali, Dammam and Bandar Abbas, via the busy transhipment port of Colombo. It makes this service a comprehensive and competitive service in the North Asia to the Gulf trade lane," said a company statement.
Being the fastest loop connecting Busan and Dammam with a transit time of 20 days, the service calls at Busan, Kwangyang, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen-Yantian, Singapore, Colombo, Jebel Ali, Dammam, Bandar Abbas, Karachi, Port Kelang, Singapore, and back to Busan.
