HK down 2.4pc in February to 1.4 million TEU, Singapore down 1.7pc

FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department show the port handled 1.5 million TEU in February, a decrease of 2.4 per cent over the 1.53 million TEU in February of last year.

Singapore`s Maritime and Port Authority reported a 1.7 per cent decrease in container movement in February, having handled 2.1 million TEU compared to 2.2 million TEU in February of last year.
