CSAV to increase Asia-Med capacity by 19pc

CHILEAN carrier CSAV Norasia says it will increase capacity on its Asia/Mediterranean service by 19 per cent.

The service between China and the west Mediterranean, named Mare Nostrum Service (MNS) will replace seven of the existing 10 vessels, averaging 5,000-TEU with 6,550-TEU ships.


The service rotation will remain the same: Xingang, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Chiwan, Port Kelang, Jeddah, Malta, La Spezia, Genoa, Fos, Barcelona, Valencia, Malta, Jeddah, Port Klang, Hong Kong and back to Xingang.
