LEADERS of the shipping and logistics industries in Asia will meet on Wednesday June 30 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre for HKSG Media`s Supply and Demand 2010-2012 `New Horizons` conference.

Topics discussed will include the supply and demand balance in the second half and beyond for the liner industry and for container terminals, the future of slow steaming, conferences in Asia and the changing relations between carriers, shippers and forwarders.

Speakers include OOCL chief executive Philip Chow, Goldman Sachs analyst Tom Kim, Hong Kong Shippers` Council chairman Sunny Ho, Maersk Line South China-Hong Kong vice president Soren Karas among other highly distinguished executives.

The event will bring together decision makers and provide the shipping industry with a roadmap for the challenging but promising path ahead, said event organiser HKSG Media CEO Laurence Scofield.

The event promises to build on the success of HKSG Media`s previous supply and demand conferences in Hong Kong and Singapore since 2007.
