FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department show the port handled 2 million TEU in May, an increase of 15.2 per cent over the 1.8 million in May of last year.
Singapore`s Maritime and Port Authority reported an 15.4 per cent increase in container movement in May, having handled 2.4 million TEU compared to 2.1 million TEU in May of last year.
