THE board of Japanese shipping giant "K" Line directors have named Kenichi Kuroya as the new chief executive officer of the group effective April 1, replacing Hiroyuki Maekawa, the current CEO who will become chairman.
Mr Kuroya, currently managing director of "K" Line Pte Ltd, will become vice president from January 1 and a director at the end of June subject to the approval of shareholders.
Further changes regarding other directors and executive officers at Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd will be announced later, said a company statement.
