MEMBER lines of the Asia Australia Discussion Agreement have announced a bunker surcharge increase of US$425 per TEU and US$850 per FEU on China-to-Australia dry and refrigerated containers from January 8.
The quasi-conference said that they used established review procedure to keep surcharges in line with the recent increases in the price of oil at Hong Kong and South Korea.
Customers requiring further information concerning the bunker surcharge were advised to contact the member lines.
AADA members are ANL Singapore, CSCL, Cosco, Hamburg Sud, Hanjin, Hyundai Merchant Marine, "K" Line, Maersk, MSC, MOL, NYK, OOCL, Gold Star Line and Zim.
