CMA CGM and Maersk to overhaul two north Atlantic services

MARSEILLES` CMA CGM, will overhaul its US east coast Liberty Bridge service on December 1 and will revise its north Europe-Montreal St Laurent services on December 26 with Maersk participation.
"Reorganisation of these two key services strengthens our transatlantic market coverage and enhances the quality and reliability of our services," said North American vice president Jean Philippe Thenoz.
The Liberty Bridge service between North Europe and the US east coast has two new complementary loops. Loop one will now call first at Jacksonville, sail to Norfolk and call on New York, its final port of call on the US east coast before returning to Europe.
On its westbound leg, Liberty Bridge one (Loop NWA) will sail from Bremerhaven to Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Le Havre, New York, Norfolk, and Charleston while returning via Miami, Jacksonville, Savannah, Charleston and New York and back to Bremerhaven.
Port string for Liberty Bridge two (Loop Maersk) on the westbound leg is- Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Felixstowe, New York, Charleston, Savannah and Miami.
On its westbound leg, the Laurent Line service, run jointly with Maersk sails from Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Le Havre, Montreal and back to Bremerhaven.
