Maersk hikes Asia-Mideast rate US$100/TEU from November 15

MAERSK Line has announced a rate increase as of US$100 per TEU and $200 per FEU from November 15 on dry cargo from south Asia and the Middle East to Europe.
"Conditions for the carriers operating in these markets are still subject to unacceptable rate levels and the situation is unsustainable in the longer term," said the Danish carrier.
