Coscon hikes rate US$300/TEU from Far East to Med- N Europe September 1

COSCON has announced a general rate increase for west and east bound cargo between Far East and northwest Europe and Mediterranean port from September 1.
For all shipments from Far East and Indian subcontinent to northwest Europe and the Mediterranean, including to Israel, Lebanon, Syria, north Africa and the Black Sea, the rate increase will be US$300 per TEU.
The Coscon statement said the rate increase was needed "to be able to continue offering customers the accustomed reliable service and a comprehensive liner network".
